The Double in the Modern Mirror: Reflecting 20th Century Drama in Artaudian Images of Thought

A scholarly work that appeals to the critical lenses of Psychoanalysis and Deconstruction to contribute understandings of Antonin Artaud’s hybrid work of theory, The Theater and Its Double. This monograph, in its range of inquiry, analyzes theories of the self and its narrative-making, the self and the instability of memory, and the self and its capacity to express truths through the performance that is writing via examination of numerous works on Psychoanalysis and Deconstruction as well as several Modern and Contemporary playwrights.

   Poetry

The Stupid Miracle

This book-length poem consists of linked prose-poem units divided into four thematic sections that examine, through a network of modern and contemporary allusions and imagery, the problems of memory and identity in the aftermath of both personal trauma and the societal upheavals of the 21st Century.
